Asia Trip: Day 97 - Krabi to Ao Nang (4/21/19)
Daily Highlights:
Woke up after a great nights sleep
Walked around and looked for breakfast
Got a couple of smoothies
Went to a few temples in the morning heat
Decided at the last minute to go to Ao Nang
Took a 50 Baht taxi ride
Decided to stay at Slumber Party Hostel (terrible choice)
We explored Ao Nang in the awful heat
Then meandered back to the hostel
I decided to go on a three mile run in the heat
We went to dinner, came back to the hostel, and there was a massive party in the lobby
Everyone was so loud and so drunk
One dude was completely nude, in front of a small crowd of people, and trying to get girls to go in the shower with him
One girl just got out of the shower (after having sex with nude dude) and started to tell us about how her leg was infected because she skinny dipped in the ocean a week ago and got a chunk of coral lodged in her leg. She didn’t get it looked at for a few days, drank heavily and went into pools and oceans. Now it’s infected (shocker) and she has to stay in this town for the next two weeks to get it clean so her leg doesn’t get amputated. Also she is on medication for this. Right now she is absolutely black out drunk and her towel is constantly falling off.
It’s 7:15 pm on a Sunday

Asia Trip: Day 98 - Ao Nang => Koh Lanta (4/22/2019)
Daily Highlights:
Quickly packed our things and took a morning taxi to a far away pier and hopped on a ferry to Koh Lanta
I slept for an hour and a half on the ferry
We arrived and instantly got lunch in this small hole in the wall restaurant right over the water and game planned for where we would stay and what we would do here
WE LOVED THE NEW HOTEL (It’s a mix between a hotel and a homestay)
Rented a scooter and explored the island - went to the old town and then to Majestic Bar for sunset
Amazing cocktails - some of the best I’ve had thus far on the trip
Went to the night market - HAD INCREDIBLE FOOD
We retired for the evening and watched old SNL clips and funny video’s on YouTube

Asia Trip: Day 99 - Koh Lanta (4/23/2019)
Daily Highlights:
Woke up early to go to Koh Lanta National Park
Had awesome brekkie
Iced coffee with leche, an omelette with toast and jam
Hiked all over the national park
SAW SO MANY MONKEYS
Went to a cool little beach side tree house bar made out of driftwood
Went to 7-11 and then across the street for smoothies
I let Cate drive the scooter for half an hour
I was a little unnerved, but she crushed it
We took a taxi to the night market
Then we walked to the Majestic Bar
Each had a mojito and a pina colada
Walked along the beach and caught a taxi back home
Watched the Bob Weir documentary
Swiftly passed out
Asia Trip: Day 100 - Koh Lanta (4/24/19)
Daily Highlights:
Slept in and watched Hotones alone in my boxers in bed while eating crackers (Cate went to go snag coffee)
Rented a scooter and cruised around the neighboring island and back to the far side of our island
Got smoothies at the end of the road of the neighboring island
Stopped off of the side of the road to get freshly sliced pineapple and lychee
Stopped at Baja Taco - INCREDIBLE FOOD
This little taco shack was started by this Thai woman who lived in Seattle for ten years and then moved back to Thailand. She now runs this taco stand and four amazing bungalows right next door which she rented out and stayed in as well. Such an interesting life.
Went to Pirate Resort - cool but v weird
Cate drove again and killed it
Came back to the hostel and chilled for a while
Watched Green Book
AMAZING MOVIE
Went to 7-11 for a night cap
